Results Day Information

Posted on: 07/07/2020

As in previous years, students in Years 11 and 13, as well as some in other year groups will be receiving results in August, however this year things will need to look a little different. While we are used to celebrating our students’ successes on the results days, as well as providing support for students with questions about their next steps; this year, we will be listening closely to the government’s advice on what we will be able to do. Our celebrations with both students and teachers may well need to wait for an appropriate time as we aim to limit the number of both that are in school, with only the exams team and senior leaders running things this year.

Year 13

Our Year 13 students will be invited in to collect their results on Thursday 13th August.  This is because many of our year 13 students are holding offers with universities and may want to seek advice regarding their next steps after Capital 6. The Capital 6 team will be communicating with students and parents on how to access this if needed.

Year 11

Our Year 11 students will be able to collect results on Thursday 20th August as for many this is also an opportunity to discuss and confirm their options for Capital 6, or reconsider their next steps based on the results they receive.

We will be working carefully to direct all our students as to when they should arrive and where they should go, to ensure contact is limited while every student receives all of the information and support they need. Full details will be sent out closer to the results days.

No students in any other year groups should attend school to collect results, as these will be sent out to them.

As with so many things in recent months, getting results for students this year will not be the same as other years, however, everyone at Capital is working to make sure that students still have the same opportunities and support as in any other year.
