Middlesex University 'Make Your Mark' programme

30 'more able' Year 7 students took part in a workshop with Middlesex University as part of the 'Make Your Mark' programme, which provides ongoing support around pathways through education to careers. Students played a large board game called STAR STUDENT, where they were introduced to different aspects of university and student life in an interactive way. Students then had the opportunity for a Q&A session with the Student Ambassadors from Middlesex who are studying a range of academic subjects; learning more about daily life as a student and some of the different pathways to university. In the summer there will be an on-campus event for the students centred on exploring university life, with more insight into pathways, courses and higher education.
