GCSE Performing Arts students work with Chickenshed Theatre Company
Posted on: 19/11/2019Chickenshed Theatre Company visited Capital City Academy to work with GCSE Performing Arts students, coordinated by Miss Wine and Miss Fonseca.
They offered a vast range of theatrical devices to enable practical and interactive student engagement; all students were stretched and encouraged vocally and physically.
Students enjoyed being challenged with a variety of opportunities to develop artistically and creatively. The captivating demonstration of expression and focused participation filled the Performing Arts department with pride. Year 10 & 11 PA students were involved in creative writing, rapping, movement and scene transitions to narrate their chosen theme.
Chickenshed Theatre Company provided such an impactful experience to our students and they, in return, maximised each moment of the workshop. Well done to all students involved.
