During the Easter holidays, we attended the Oxford Easter school at Somerville College for our chosen academic streams - Biological Sciences/Zoology and History.
We had academic sessions with Oxford graduates and professors as if we were undergraduate students, to see what university life is like. We slept in student accommodation, ate in student dining halls and got involved in societies. Both of us joined the 'hide and soc' society where we played playground games such as hide and seek, bulldog chase and tag.
On the last night of the Easter School we attended a formal dinner where we had to dress up and received awards. We were also given the chance to explore Oxford City centre with a treasure hunt where we came 2nd!
This was a great opportunity where we meet with people all over England from places such as Bradford, Grimsby and Newcastle.
