Capital City Academy Press Statement A-Level results 2007 25 students in Year 13 completed A-level courses in 2007. They achieved good results as follows: % of entries achieving A: 10.1% % of entries achieving B: 15.9% % of entries achieving C: 29% % of entries achieving D: 30.4% %of entries achieving E: 11.6% % of entries A-C: 55.1% % of entries A-E: 97% Ave UCAS points score: 262.9 “These results are very pleasing for our last small sixth form year group,” said Principal Philip O’Hear. “They are a reflection of hard and effective work by our students and their teachers. These results will show significant added value from these students’ achievements at GCSE and confirm our track record of improvement and success”. 23 of these students have applied to university and at least 15 will now move straight on to their chosen university place. Others have reached university standard but have chosen to progress in other directions at present or will continue with a further year at school, taking additional subjects.
