Capital City Academy opened in September 2003 with a maximum admission to each year of 196 students. It is accommodated in state-of-the-art building with very good information and communication technology (ICT) resources and excellent facilities to support its specialisms in sports and the arts. The student population reflects the diverse multicultural neighbourhood of South Brent. The academy is an increasingly popular school and is significantly over-subscribed.
