Welcome to our Sixth Form

I am extremely proud to be the Head of Sixth Form at Capital City Academy. It is a Sixth Form that has grown and improved steadily over the past six years; that offers a huge range of opportunities for students; and that aims to provide an environment where students can grow socially as well as academically, where they can take increasing responsibility for their learning and for their lives, and where they can combine dedication to their studies with a great sense of achievement. Students are encouraged to develop their voice in ways that will prepare them for life outside of Capital City Academy.

At Capital we are proud of the good rapport between sixth formers and teachers, sustained through a supportive approach in many lessons and through a vast array of citizenship activities, developing leadership skills both in extra curricular activities and in preparation for university life.
