A. Guess the next few terms for the following sequences: Note: The problems are of varying complexity! i. 1, 2, 4, 8, . . . ii. 1, 2, 4, 7, . . . iii. O, T, T, F, F, . . . iv. M, T, W, T, . . . v. 3, 3, 5, 4, . . .
B. Construct numbers by adding any string of two or more consecutive whole numbers. For example, 1+2=3, 1+2+3=6, 2+3=5, 4+5+6+7+8=30, etc. i. Can one generate any whole number using this procedure? ii. If not, can you determine which numbers can be generated and which cannot? iii. Can you explain or justify your answers? C.
