EnglishKey Stage 3 - Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9In Years 7, 8 and 9 a wide range of material is studied, including novels, poetry, media and plays. We teach how different written genres are aimed at a variety of audiences and purposes and read a diverse range of text types, from stories to non-fiction. Students also write in a variety of styles including newspapers articles, essays and poems. They also take part in project work, debating and group presentations.
