Capital 6 Year 11 Applicants’ Event for all Capital Year 11 students.
Wednesday 16th November 2022 5.30pm - 7pm
Capital 6 Open Evening for Year 11 parents and external guests
Students and their parents are warmly welcomed to our Capital 6 Open Evening. Attendees will meet our Capital 6 teachers, visit sixth form subject areas and hear from Capital 6 students: both past and present. Attendees will also be able to collect essential information and receive advice on how to make an application.

Online applications open for September 2023. Please apply through the link on our website.
Friday 16th December 2022
Closing date for applications. For students new to Capital City Academy (external applicants) the online application form should be submitted along with a reference.
Saturday 28th January 2023
After receiving your application, you will be sent an invitation confirming the time of your Capital 6 admissions meeting; these will take place on Saturday 28th January 2023 for Capital Y11 students and for students new to the Academy by appointment
End February- Mid March 2023
After attending your admissions meeting, an offer letter will be sent to you confirming a conditional place.
Friday 31st March 2023
Deadline for accepting your conditional place - after receiving your offer letter you are required to respond giving your intentions for your post-16 education.
Monday 3rd July 2023
Y11 into C6 Transition Day
Thursday 24th August 2023
GCSE Results Day & Enrolment
Capital 6 Enrolment Day. Once you have collected your GCSE results you are required to attend enrolment in order to confirm or change (if necessary) your subjects.

Sixth form teaching begins
