Maths Inspiration Event

On 29th November a group of students from Years 10-12 attended the Maths Inspiration event at the Shaftesbury Theatre by Piccadilly Circus. The students were treated to three interesting and engaging presentations in a TED talk format. These focussed on how maths can be used in varying contexts, such as event planning and crowd control at festivals, engineering and natural forms, and number patterns and juggling! The students were fantastically well behaved and engaged well with the presentations, benefitting from greater insight on how they could use their exceptional mathematical ability to enhance their futures. We hope that one day our students will be presenting at these events!
