Visit from Dame Rachel de Souza

On Monday 21st March 2022, the school was visited by Dame Rachel de Souza, Children's Commissioner for England. Dame Rachel received a tour of the school and the Wellbeing Area and the tour was led by three students in the West London Zone cohort.

She met with Ms Hannah Heyes from our Safeguarding team and the staff from our Wellbeing Dept. The focus of the meeting was to oversee the amazing work Capital City Academy has received from West London Zone and have a clear picture of the needs of the children and families in our school community.

West London Zone fed back to us that it was fantastic to hear about the positive work happening at Capital City Academy, and it gave Dame Rachel a great impression of the West London Zone programme. The input and examples given during the discussions were really great, and the students were excellent! Dame Rachel asked us to pass on her thanks, once again, to West London Zone.
