Black History Month
Posted on: 29/10/2021On the last day before the half term break, on Friday 29th October, we held our annual Cultural Day, an event which is always an integral part of our Black History Month. This is not just another date on the school calendar, but one eagerly awaited by students and staff alike. Everyone is encouraged to come in clothing to reflect their own particular cultural background and to take part in the fashion show which ensued. In addition, there were speeches by guest speakers from outside the school, calypso singing, Somali singing and a guest poet. A show that went down a storm, with an audience that shook the foundations of the Sports Hall.
