Year 13 Leavers' Event

Our Year 13 students have been amazing and have shown such resilience and maturity during their time here especially during the pandemic. We are very proud of all of them. 

The Year 13 Leavers’ Event marks the informal end of our Year 13 students journey at Capital City Academy. It was held on Tuesday 25th May 2021 and it was a day to remember particularly after the year we’ve all had. Mrs Jeanes (Principal), Mr Manandhar (Assistant Principal), Mr Aberatyne and Mr Wola gave a speech to celebrate their successes, journey and achievement and also gave them words of encouragement. Staff members that couldn’t attend the event had the opportunity to say their goodbyes by the video recording which was played during the event. 

The event provided an opportunity for students to celebrate their time at Capital City and look to the future. The day concluded with some light lunch and refreshments provided by the school. 

We are sad to see them leave and we wish them the very best of luck as they go off in their different directions. We hope that we have given them the tools they need to succeed in their next challenges, whether that be at university, apprenticeship or something different. We look forward to celebrating their future accomplishments and their return to Capital to inspire the next generation.
