Brent Youth Takeover Day
Posted on: 09/12/2020The Year 12 Student Council representatives took part in the Brent Youth Takeover Day. This was an opportunity to have students across the borough contribute to the 2021 Brent Youth Strategy.
They engaged in a day-long session, collaborating with others and feeding back to the leaders of the Takeover Day, as well as the Head of Brent Children Services and our Borough Councillor.
We should be really proud of our representatives: Duniya, Graiziele, Abdimalik, Marwa and Bahja. Rest assured, they made their voices heard; the next phase of the Brent Youth Strategy, in which many young people will be asked to contribute, was influenced by your student council members.
