Where did you grow up? Winchester. It's about an hour out of London. It was a nice place to grow up but quite boring.
What was your favourite subject at school? English and Art.
Where did you go to University? I went to the University of Westminster to study English Literature and French. I also did an Art Foundation course at Central Saint Martins.
What made you decide to go into the field of education? I decided to become a teacher after doing my MA. I found it quite depressing being in a library all the time. I wanted to talk about literature with students, rather than writing weary essays about some small footnote in a 19th century novel.
What are your hobbies outside of work? Painting.
What is your favourite part of the job you currently do? Getting to work with people.
What is your favourite thing about working at Capital? The English Department.
