DEAR (Drop Everything and Read)

Did you know that there is a strong correlation between a child’s reading age and their success in all subjects at GCSE? As part of our drive to ensure that all Capital’s students have the literacy skills required to achieve their potential, we have added Daily DEAR to our Year 7 and 8 curricula. Our KS4 students still enjoy the opportunity to read during LA time as well as during our half-termly DEAR lessons.
