Year 6 into Year 7 Transition

We cannot wait for our new Year 7 students to join us at Capital in September 2020. Despite the school closure, we have made sure that we have done as much as we can to help the Year 6 students begin to feel part of our school community. This has included phone calls to students, school visits where possible and information packs posted to every child.

If you haven’t done so already, please watch our Y7 Transition - Welcome to Capital film! Our staff had a lot of fun putting this together for our new Year 7 students. This video also introduces Ms Clarke as the new Year 7 Team Leader and Mr Hilsenrath as the Assistant Year Team Leader.

We are also extremely excited to announce that our SHINE Summer School will be taking place from Monday 20th July–Friday 24th July.  If you are a parent of a new Year 7 child and would like your child to attend summer school, please email chowson@capitalcityacademy.org by Friday 10th July.
