Year 10 and Year 12 in School

It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome our Year 10 students back into school during their phased return. It was lovely to see them reconnect with their teachers and peers and settle back into a routine. Students engaged well with their lessons and expressed how excited they are to return to school fulltime. We are looking forward to welcoming them back as Year 11s and supporting them throughout their final year in September.

It was a pleasure to see the Year 12 students return to school including during the reorientation days where we held interactive PSHE sessions, shared information on keeping everyone safe and one-to-one discussions.

Last week, I spoke to a number of Year 12 students and members of staff, and they’ve been delighted to be back at school. I’ve been extremely impressed with the maturity and work ethic of all of the students who have come into school. Also, the attendance of students to school have been high.

Finally, I would like to conclude by thanking the Year 12 parents for their support in helping their child with their school work and ensuring that they participate in online learning and arrive at school promptly for the sessions provided.
