A Response to Black Lives Matter

In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, the English curriculum was suspended for a week to give students the chance to learn about the BLM movement and to offer their response to a simple question (inspired by Maya Angelou’s poem): ‘What does it mean to rise?’ Some of their heartfelt responses are shared with you here.
