Former MP and Deputy Mayor of London, Victoria Borwick, visits Capital

We had the brilliant Victoria Borwick, former MP and former Deputy Mayor of London come to speak informally about careers and democratic involvement with 6th Formers. Later she more formally spoke to some Year 10 and 11 students about democracy and getting their voices heard. Students engaged in debate and discussion with Victoria, asking their pre-researched questions and listening politely and attentively to her sharing her life experience and advice. She was very impressed with all the students she met, and expressed her interest in returning to Capital again.
