Name: Ollie Johnson
Current Job Title: Teacher of Humanities
Where did you grow up: I grew up in the town of Amersham in Buckinghamshire which is on the very far end of the Metropolitan Line in North-West London.
What was your favourite subject at school: Drama
Which university did you go to and what did you study: I went to the University of Warwick to study the History, Literature and Cultures of the Americas.
What made you decide to go into teaching: I wanted the opportunity to be a part of helping young people to develop and progress so that they can make the most of their potential.
What are your hobbies outside of work: I do a lot of reading as well as listening to a lot of podcasts (mostly all to do with history of course!) and most of you will know I am a big Arsenal fan so I can be found at the Emirates most weekends - come on you Gunners!
What encouraged you to apply to work at Capital: Working in an environment that has the brilliant facilities that our school has is amazing - we are very lucky!
What have been some of your highlights: The things that have taken me out of my comfort zone - last year's staff Christmas flash mob in the canteen and the staff race at Sports Day a couple of summers ago spring to mind!
