Jack Petchey Award Winners Announced

We are delighted to announce the Jack Petchey Award winners - Kyanne, Yahya and Jordan. Each student has been awarded £250 to spend on their choice of how to benefit Capital City Academy. All were nominated by staff and students for similar qualities including their kindness, commitment to academic studies and school community leadership skills.

Award-winner Kyanne has spent her money on a Christmas theatre trip to watch 'The Canterville Ghost' which has paid for 25 students! Both Yahya and Jordan have placed equipment orders for PE which will benefit the entire Academy!

This is a prestigious award and one that all students should aspire to. Many thanks for all the student and staff nominations, to Mrs Durn and Miss Wine for coordinating the programme and to Miss Oppon for the professional photography.
