Top Performers Case Study - Nejma & Sumeya

Posted on: 15/08/2019

Nejma and Sumeya both started their journey at Capital City Academy part way through their secondary school experience. Sumeya joined in Year 8 having relocated with her family and Nejma joined in Year 10 after deciding to change school for her GCSEs, favouring a more academically driven experience.

They both settled in well and decided to stay on for Sixth Form due to the friendships they had made and the fantastic teaching and support they knew they would get. Both girls chose to study a BTEC Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care.

After two years in the same lessons each day, they have come into Capital for the final time together, this time to collect their results. Their grades clearly reflect the amount of time and effort they dedicated to their studies; with both achieving Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction.

Sumeya is delighted to accept her first choice to study an Extended Degree in Science and Nejma will be studying Midwifery. They were both very happy with their results and wanted to thank their teachers for always going above and beyond to ensure they achieved their best.
