Visit to Innocent HQ with Salusbury World

On Monday 8 July, a group of Year 7 and 8 students visited the headquarters of Innocent Drinks - the smoothie and juice- makers - with Salusbury World. The office was really cool. When staff need inspiration or a break from their work, they can play table tennis or table football in the office! We heard all about Innocent’s attempts to reduce the amount of single-use plastic for their drinks, how they encourage staff to use less energy and about celebrating failures as well as successes. The visit challenged everyone’s assumptions about what it’s like to work in an office and many students were excited by the thought of working somewhere as unconventional as Innocent when they’re older. We left with armfuls of delicious juices. Thanks, Innocent!
