Year 10 Catering Trip to Borough Market

On Tuesday 21st May, Year 10 Catering students had a day out at Borough Market. The weather was perfect. We arrived at Borough Market and went straight to a Sour Dough Bread making workshop (Bread Ahead). Here we were shown how to make a sour dough starter and went on to make bread. The workshop was so much fun and it's something that we won't ever forget. After the workshop we walked around the market looking at the various foods on offer, some of us bought food products to take home. After lunch we walked along the Thames and sat and ate ice cream in the sunshine. A perfect day out!

Miss Marini was impressed with us saying how mature and independent we all were. We would like to thank Miss Marini for organising the trip and also thank Miss Barci who came along to help. What a lovely day!
