Berlin Work Experience Trip - A Student's Account

Being in Berlin was an all-round astounding experience; not only did our German improve from listening to the natives but our confidence speaking the language grew exponentially. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip from witnessing the remains of the Berlin wall, to the Museum of Illusions and exploring the culture of the great city.

Speaking with the Year 6 children in the German primary school every morning challenged our language skills at times; but speaking with the younger children allowed us to practice the language we already knew and to become more comfortable using it.

I think I speak for all my classmates when I say it was an educational yet awing adventure.
