Year 10 Boys Basketball team secure place in Brent League Championship
Posted on: 14/02/2019It was a day of love at Capital as the Year 10 Boys Basketball team secured the academy's first Brent League Championship in four years!
On Valentine's day, the boys were amazing as they came together to show Capital spirit and determination to win a grueling game against a very talented Newman Catholic College.
In the last few seconds of overtime, a defensive steal by Nathan A, allowed Mohammed S the opportunity to score the game winning basket 52-51!
Mohammed S was awarded the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award. A massive congratulations to Coach Kieran Matthews who has put in a large amount of hard work and commitment to getting the best out of our boys. Excellent work!
