Aspiring Sports Leaders!

Congratulations to the Year 9 Sports Tech award group who took part in their first sports leader event. As part of their course the students are studying a sports leadership unit of work and have been working with their peers delivering practice sessions and planning sports sessions to younger students.

Last Wednesday they took part in their first major event a 'Sports Hall Indoor Athletic Competition' event at Willesden Sports Centre featuring 370 primary school students from 17 different schools in the borough. The students were great and received lots of positive comments from the primary school teachers and event organisers. They were a great example of the fantastic students we have here at Capital.

Well done to all involved, we look forward to the next event.
