No Place for Hate Competition Awards Ceremony

Year 7 and 8 students took part in the 'No Place for Hate' Competition where they were invited to produce artwork and/or poetry in response to the theme 'No Place for Hate'.

Students expressed what the diversity of Brent means to them through their artwork and/or poetry. Capital City Academy produced many entries and the best 10 were selected as winners with First Prize: Gabriela P, 2nd Prize: Anita B, 3rd Prize: Marya A, and runners up included: Doyle B, Nada M, Sohrab H, Amal A, Shanai A, Alisha A and Omar A.

Students enjoyed the ceremony where they received prizes and a talk from the Brent Civic staff and members of the Metropolitan Police force.
