NFL Youth Sustainability Engagement Afternoon

23 of our SHINE students had the opportunity to engage in the National Football Leagues 'Youth Sustainability Afternoon'.

Students learned some American Football skills, taking part in outdoor activities alongside students from Preston Manor school.

Students then participated in a presentation about recycling and how the NFL supports this cause; this was delivered by the award winning Jack and Susan Groh. The afternoon was topped off with a visit from 3 NFL Jaguars cheerleaders who showed us part of their routine and answered questions from students.

Students were happy to receive T-Shirt prizes for demonstrating exceptional skills, good answers to questions and proving their listening skills. All students received 2 signed photos from star Jaguar players, a Jaguar pen and a badge. SHINE students also have the opportunity to win tickets to watch England vs USA donated to us by NFL.

Overall it was a very informative day.
