Sports Leaders

Year 9, 10, 12 & 13 Leaders Update

Our Sports Leaders from Years 9, 10, 12 & 13 have been working extremely hard over the last few weeks. They ran events for Brent Primary Schools for KS1 and KS2 pupils -

• Quad Kids for Year 5/6 students with 250 participants
• Quad Kids for Year 3/4 students with 200 participants
• Gymnastics for KS1 and KS2 students with 150 participants

All events show a big increase in numbers this year due to the success of our leaders in previous competitions. Schools want to work with them and trust them to keep their children safe and happy.

These events cannot run without the leaders taking on the roles of coach and officials. Our leaders are always in demand and a number have been offered holiday work as a result of being seen running activities at these events.

Year 11 Leaders update

As part of the BTEC course our Year 11 students ran an event for 300 KS1 students from 4 Infant schools in Brent.

They coached the children and ran a number of activities keeping the children engaged through-out. They were extremely professional and all their preparation paid off with them received outstanding feedback from everyone.
