Mayor's Fund for London Workshop

60 pupils from Years 7, 8 and 9 were involved in workshops led by the Mayor's Fund for London. We had an incredible assembly led by Mr Beezy, followed by a series of leadership workshops to develop our teams. We were then given the mission to plan a social action project to benefit our local community. Some group members wrote the pitch, others worked on the designing publicity materials and others wrote poems and slogans to promote the idea.

Each group presented to an esteemed panel comprising of Mr George, Ms White and Mrs Jeanes. The panel were hugely impressed and deliberated long and hard before finally deciding upon the winning team - The Tea Party! The group will now be preparing a video pitch so keep your fingers crossed that we make it to the next stage!
