Reach Conference

This event was organised by the Reach Society, a social enterprise that encourages, motivates and inspires black boys and young black men to realise their potential and make viable transitions into adult life.

A group of Year 11 students who were mentored by Garth Crooks attended the conference along with Ms Onisemo. The event was an enormous success and the students were smart, well mannered and a credit to Capital City Academy.

Thank you to Ms Onisemo for giving up her time to attend the event with the boys; Ms Hyde for transporting them to the venue; and Ms Francis for co-ordinating the visit.
