What was your favourite subject at school: My favourite subjects at school were Science and PE - rugby mainly! What university did you go to and what did you study: I studied Polymer Science and Environmental Studies and Teaching at UMIST (Manchester and Liverpool John Moores University). What made you decide to go into teaching: Working in Environmental Education with red squirrels and toads gave me a taste for education and teaching. What are your hobbies outside of work: My hobbies outside of work are golf, spending time with my kids, running and cycling. What encouraged you to apply to work at Capital: I was very interested in the prospect of improving ICT in the school. What have been some of your highlights: The salad bar!
