It is a great privilege to lead Capital City Academy; the fantastic staff and students really exemplify our values and it is a place of real learning for all. The enthusiasm, discipline and ambition of our students combined with the high expectations and willing hard work of the staff have meant that we have seen results increase year-on-year and have a very positive Ofsted rating. Our impressive progress scores show the desire of all those at the academy to enable all students to reach their full potential.
Parents and carers play a vital role at the academy and the home/school partnership is key to realising a young person’s potential. We welcome and expect active involvement from parents / carers in the education of the students not only through parent meetings, academic review days and information evenings but also through arts events, sporting fixtures, work experience, parent forums and community events.
We are confident that when you visit Capital, talk to our students, staff and parents/carers, hear first-hand about the opportunities and successes of our school and see the wonderful facilities - you will want to join us.
